Pedrinho de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Jeremias Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrinho de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to C o n f i a n ç a - SE getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Genílson da Silva hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Jeremias Maia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stian Selnes got free with Diguinho Carioca in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Clayton Pedron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pedrinho de Queirós made a huge save. Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Pedron in the 56th minute of the match. Diguinho Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Johan Larsen in the 61st minute of play. Nando de Sousa lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alfa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pedrinho de Queirós, was totally fooled by C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Charles Capixaba, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A sloppy throw-in by Otávio Lima in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Arthur Barbosa. 73 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Jeremias Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedrinho de Queirós was a little too slow when Jeremias Maia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-6. The supporters of C o n f i a n ç a - SE booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute C o n f i a n ç a - SE were awarded a corner. Charles Capixaba went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Charles Capixaba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedrinho de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeremias Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho de Queirós having to make a save. In the 95th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Lima to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Kristian Sanne got a free kick in the 98th minute. Charles Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C o n f i a n ç a - SE. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
