Olívio Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto Quirino took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 13th match minute, Los Bacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Erik Magnusson in the 20th minute. The corner led C.A Gryffindor's Karl-Erik Magnusson to fire away a dangerous shot which Olívio Arruda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Jacinto Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 24 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Mangueira came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira. But to his dismay, Edgard Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 29 minutes into the match, Jacinto Quirino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Quirino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Marquinhos Filho. But to his dismay, Marquinhos Filho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Mangueira in the 34th minute of the match. Jacinto Quirino scored 0-8 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Jacinto Quirino sped through Los Bacanas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olívio Arruda. Marquinhos Filho took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio Dionísio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Marquinhos Filho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olívio Arruda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Filho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Edgard Mangueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olívio Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Mangueira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 73rd minute. C.A Gryffindor's Guilherme Mazer was substituted for Jacinto Quirino. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Paredes Pedrera replaced Marquinhos Filho. Guilherme Mazer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-15 to the left of a surprised Olívio Arruda 78 minutes into the match. Olívio Arruda was a little too slow when Edgard Mangueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-16. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Mazer in the 84th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Mazer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Arruda was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 89 minutes, Guilherme Mazer made it 0-17 with a short kick to the right side. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded C.A Gryffindor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Bacanas FC.
