In the 4thth minute of the game Clayton Pedron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Pedron, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Selnes came free, but Diguinho Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho de Queirós was a little too slow when Charles Capixaba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Maia. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charles Capixaba in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Aparecido. Pedrinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Pedron in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Alfa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charles Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. Clayton Pelezinho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pedrinho de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Maia in the 28th minute. If Charles Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ole-Johan Larsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diguinho Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Selnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Queirós having to interfere. With a little luck, Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós got control of the ball when Jeremias Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clayton Pedron made a kick off. Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Pedron in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Pedron came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C o n f i a n ç a - SE getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Charles Capixaba hit a great ball. Alfa FC's Lázaro Galtero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diguinho Carioca but with some difficulty. 66 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when Ferreirinha Vinhas came free, but Diguinho Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Carioca made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ferreirinha Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Diguinho Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferreirinha Vinhas. In the 73rdth minute of the game Clayton Pedron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Maia in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho de Queirós saved Alfa FC from getting behind. Clayton Pedron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Stian Selnes could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Diguinho Carioca however easily saved by the left post. In the 85th minute Jeremias Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Maia's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Charles Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Arthur Barbosa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Otávio Lima in the 96 minute of the game. Alfa FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
