But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Salles couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olívio Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Felipe Nerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Arruda was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Nerio in the 10th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Nerio in the 22nd minute of the match. Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Noel Palmeira in the 24 minute of the game. Frank de Lara hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Célio Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gu Zhan Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Baptista to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Correia in the 30th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Zhan Wei made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Elivélton Correia sent off a good shot on target. Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elivélton Correia 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 48th minute Célio Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Academia Santista CIMZ were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Dionísio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jaroslaw Willmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes of play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Palmeira made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elivélton Correia. In the 62nd match minute, Los Bacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alessandro Paraibano hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cao Jian Feng. 69 minutes into the game, Felipe Nerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Olívio Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Noel Palmeira hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olívio Arruda. That made the score 1-7 after 82 minutes of play. Severino Turres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaroslaw Willmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Nerio in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Bacanas FC's zone, Felipe Nerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal and Felipe Nerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Severino Turres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Academia Santista CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Bacanas FC throughout the match.
