The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Suárez got free with Olívio Arruda in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Matías Suárez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gryffindor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 18th minute, C.A Gryffindor's Anıl Ozan Bardakçıoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Suárez in the 21st minute of play. Matías Suárez succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. In the 31st play minute Matías Suárez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olívio Arruda. 7-0. 34 minutes into the game, Matías Suárez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Olívio Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes, Denílson Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A Gryffindor and the Los Bacanas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denílson Lopes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. C.A Gryffindor's Denílson Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías Suárez in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olívio Arruda saved Los Bacanas FC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matías Suárez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Los Bacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Matías Suárez scored 9-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
