Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 22nd minute of play. Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Bem Bolado from getting a goal against them. Barr Eira made a great header on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner, it was just that Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano managed to reach the ball for a save. Pranas Užkuraitis might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiaguinho Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magno das Neves was the one to do the kick off. Sidney Peres hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bem Bolado defense, Pranas Užkuraitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Sergipano. The Bem Bolado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho Sergipano should have stopped the shot. Sidney Peres hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Magno das Neves came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pranas Užkuraitis in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho Sergipano saved Bem Bolado from getting behind. Tiaguinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pranas Užkuraitis in the 80th minute of the match. Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 87th minute of play. Batalhão do Peçanha's Carter Leggeri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sidney Peres, made in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bem Bolado's Cláudio Donatello got a free kick in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the game, Epaminondas Baba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batalhão do Peçanha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bem Bolado the free kick. In the 96th minute, Epaminondas Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bem Bolado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
