Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pranas Užkuraitis in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasios Bouroutzikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Batalhão do Peçanha getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vânderson Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Emilio Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Saldanha in the 28th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Anastasios Bouroutzikas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emil Tingberg replaced Leandro Saldanha. 73 minutes into the match, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pranas Užkuraitis came free, but Anastasios Bouroutzikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Gomes during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anastasios Bouroutzikas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho Machado. After 91 played minutes Batalhão do Peçanha got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Vasconcelos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pranas Užkuraitis during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pranas Užkuraitis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
