In the 4thth minute of the game Diguinho Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campestre AC's Gerson Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Atlético da Colina's Samúel Mane to fire away a dangerous shot which Gerson Montenegro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Set Master in the 7th minute of play forced Campestre AC's goalkeeper Gerson Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Diguinho Souza made a precise shot to the right of Gerson Montenegro. Campestre AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Atlético da Colina fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, Diguinho Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 25th minute, Victor de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes of play, Atlético da Colina's Set Master made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Diguinho Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerson Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Souza in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Diguinho Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerson Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Campestre AC's zone, Set Master stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Montenegro came out of the goal and Set Master tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Set Master scored 0-7 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerson Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Diguinho Souza notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Campestre AC's Gerson Montenegro. Gerson Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diguinho Souza to make the kick off. Nilmar Nascimento's late challenge caught a Atlético da Colina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilmar Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Campestre AC's Nilmar Nascimento got a free kick in the 50th minute. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Diguinho Souza put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Gerson Montenegro. Gerson Montenegro was a little too slow when Diguinho Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-10. 59 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerson Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Nilmar Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético da Colina booed when Campestre AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diguinho Souza got free with Gerson Montenegro in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Denílson Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Gerson Montenegro. Campestre AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. In the 71st minute, Set Master reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerson Montenegro. The goal made the score 0-13. 74 minutes into the match, Campestre AC's goal looked a bit too open when Set Master came free, but Gerson Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Diguinho Souza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gerson Montenegro, passed just outside the right post. In the 78th minute, Diguinho Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. 81 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerson Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Diguinho Souza put it in 0-16 from a short distance just to the right of Gerson Montenegro. Gerson Montenegro came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza. But to his dismay, Diguinho Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-17. Diguinho Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerson Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. After 92nd play minutes Diguinho Souza shot 0-18, a short shot which went by Gerson Montenegro and just under the crossbar into goal. Atlético da Colina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
