The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Yavuz Hagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Encanto's attentive Bernardinho Paes managed to snatch the ball when Paulão Bertassi made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ren Yang Bang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Arinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ren Yang Bang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Yang Bang in the 30th minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Yang Bang in the 34th minute of the match. Nico Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Yang Bang's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Rio Arinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ren Yang Bang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Dracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nico Tasso having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Encanto's Nico Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Yang Bang in the 89th minute of play. Nico Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Yang Bang in the 90th minute of play. Léo Travassos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Nico Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Yang Bang, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
