In the 11thth minute of the game Wellington Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu got control of the ball when Ivar Dalman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hudson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Beila Mora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aloísio Abreu, 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Gernando Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beila Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aloísio Abreu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 29th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Matadores FC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Nilton Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beila Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Aloísio Abreu made a huge save. Aloísio Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beila Mora in the 40th minute. Austra 04 VFC's Wellington Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington Pires to make the kick off. Aloísio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beila Mora in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Mora in the 52nd minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Sócrates Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Beila Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Austra 04 VFC defense, Nilton Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson Gaúcho. The Austra 04 VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Fontes in the 67th minute of the match. Beila Mora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Wellington Pires notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu. Aloísio Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Mora in the 74th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Pires went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Matadores FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
