A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Godoi in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Durvalino Quintal. Marcelinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luís Fabiano Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matheus Savioli was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Matheus Savioli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Kléberson Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaboudjan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund MZB the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Karaboudjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Gomes to maneuver through the defense. When Borussia Dortmund MZB's Gernando Pernambucano in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Clarence Seedorf's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clarence Seedorf helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Clarence Seedorf got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
