Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fabiano Leão started the match with the kick off. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes Clarence Seedorf shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Claudinho Taffarel when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by THE MAYA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clarence Seedorf was slow to take the kick. During this time Borussia Dortmund MZB's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of THE MAYA's goalie and right to Guga Capixaba. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. THE MAYA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 19 played minutes Borussia Dortmund MZB got a freekick which was hit by 崔谦俊. The audience was convinced that Gilmar Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Peruzzi was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 28th minute Gilmar Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Azevedo in the 29th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Albuquerque in the 31st minute of the match. Angelo Peruzzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Albuquerque went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marco Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Azevedo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Peruzzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marco Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gilmar Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilmar Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Gilmar Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund MZB getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Guga Capixaba hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Simão de Barros came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fabiano Leão in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Taffarel saved THE MAYA from getting behind. After 58 minutes THE MAYA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clarence Seedorf who took care of the corner kick. Clarence Seedorf made a great header on Borussia Dortmund MZB's corner, it was just that THE MAYA's Claudinho Taffarel managed to reach the ball for a save. A nice corner shot did that Clarence Seedorf got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudinho Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When THE MAYA's Gilmar Azevedo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Albuquerque came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, THE MAYA's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Leão came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilmar Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, 叶峰烽 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilmar Azevedo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Peruzzi saved Borussia Dortmund MZB from getting behind. In the 76thth minute of the game Marco Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilmar Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Marco Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE MAYA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 88 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Gonçalves. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Luís Fabiano Leão. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 叶峰烽 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Albuquerque in the 96th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund MZB from getting a goal against them.
