The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 3rd minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Faustino Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulisses Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Gerazan in the 8th minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Proteu's Ulysses Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Pimenta in the 9th minute of play. Ulysses Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Archie Ares hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 13th minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, 毛明昆 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SALIMEN's Elói Miranda. Elói Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Ulisses Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SALIMEN's Elói Miranda got control of the ball when 毛明昆 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Tercero Segundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Proteu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SALIMEN the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Tercero Segundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulysses Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Pimenta in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qu Wei in the 31st minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Elói Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SALIMEN's Elói Miranda got control of the ball when 毛明昆 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 毛明昆 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Elói Miranda made a huge save. Proteu's Ulysses Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 36th minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, SALIMEN's Ulisses Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulysses Donato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ulysses Donato came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by SALIMEN's Cláudio Pimenta. But to his dismay, Cláudio Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Faustino Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SALIMEN's protests and gave Faustino Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. Faustino Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulisses Sabóia made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Nicolas Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Proteu's Ulysses Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Vasconcelos in the 61st minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Elói Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tercero Segundo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Tercero Segundo. With a little luck, Proteu's Ulysses Donato got control of the ball when Saturnino Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulisses Sabóia. Ulysses Donato made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Enéas Pereira sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Ulisses Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Pimenta in the 80th minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Ulisses Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Ulysses Donato. Proteu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. SALIMEN made a substitution. Ronaldão Novaes replaced Enéas Pereira. SALIMEN's Rony Eger was substituted for Saturnino Gartzea. SALIMEN's İldeniz Davutoğlu was substituted for Ulisses Sabóia. If Rony Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulysses Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İldeniz Davutoğlu went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when 毛明昆 came free, but Elói Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulysses Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İldeniz Davutoğlu in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İldeniz Davutoğlu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulysses Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Eger in the 94th minute. İldeniz Davutoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ulysses Donato made a huge save. The Proteu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SALIMEN were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
