After a defensive mix-up in Sampaio Corrêa FC - FDFDF's zone, Alberto Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Vaz got free with Lucas De Gea in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Michel Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sampaio Corrêa FC - FDFDF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Sacode Football CIMZ were winning 1-4.
