The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogério Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Lichucki having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Wellington Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Vieira was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Pedro Paulo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Paraíba in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Cambaratiba getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rodrigo Rosado hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Paraíba in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paulo Vieira saved Calangos do Cerrado-DF from getting behind. In the 24th minute Rogério Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Lichucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Calangos do Cerrado-DF's zone, Wellington Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Vieira came out of the goal and Wellington Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rogério Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Stanislaw Lichucki made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Stanislaw Lichucki made a huge save. Pedro Paulo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Paraíba in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Calangos do Cerrado-DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 倪康岚 to maneuver through the defense. The Calangos do Cerrado-DF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cambaratiba were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Rogério Arce made the kick off in the second half. Wellington Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Paulo Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wellington Paraíba ran back to his position shaking his head. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Arce in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Rogério Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Lichucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fábio Santana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Paulo Vieira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stanislaw Lichucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Arce in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th play minute Wellington Paraíba came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Paulo Vieira. 0-2. In the 74th minute Wellington Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Montenegro came free, but Stanislaw Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Artur Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Lichucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Arce in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislaw Lichucki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 minutes, Rogério Arce made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanislaw Lichucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Montenegro in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Calangos do Cerrado-DF's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Paraíba came free, but Pedro Paulo Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calangos do Cerrado-DF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fábio Santana was slow to take the kick. During this time Cambaratiba's players had a chance to rest. Silvano Lonzo tried in the 98th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Pedro Paulo Vieira a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Calangos do Cerrado-DF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
