Percival Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute of the match Lucas de Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percival Félix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Percival Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Arlindo Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SERRANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Toledo in the 11th minute of play forced Ivo FC's goalkeeper Percival Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Enéas Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percival Félix. Ivo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enéas Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Francisco Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Perez in the 16th minute of play forced Ivo FC's goalkeeper Percival Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vladimir Dias fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ivo FC's protests and gave Vladimir Dias a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimir Dias hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Doriva de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ivo FC defense, Arlindo Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Félix. The Ivo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Félix should have stopped the shot. Percival Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Rossi in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cauan Camargo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent McGorrie saved SERRANO from getting behind. After 31 played minutes SERRANO got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Moreira. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of SERRANO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ivo FC:s goal. Vincent McGorrie had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Edvaldo Dracena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Enéas Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SERRANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ivo FC the free kick. Francisco Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Vincent McGorrie made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Francisco Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent McGorrie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The Ivo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SERRANO were winning 2-4.

The wind increased when Francisco Arantes made the kick off in the second half. Percival Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Gerber in the 58th minute of play. Percival Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Ivo FC's goalkeeper Percival Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Moreira. In the 65th match minute, SERRANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Zeca Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent McGorrie having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Agnaldo Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Ivo FC's Percival Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Moreira in the 80th minute of play. Percival Félix made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Arlindo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, SERRANO's Doriva de Andrade seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Doriva de Andrade the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SERRANO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Doriva de Andrade had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of SERRANO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ivo FC:s goal. Percival Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enéas Moreira in the 101st minute. The SERRANO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
