Silas de Moraes lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to SERRANO getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Silas de Moraes hit a great ball. Stanislaw Lichucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Giubelean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Vincent McGorrie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Marin Giubelean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambaratiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cambaratiba's Yuri Zanette got a free kick in the 21st minute. Marin Giubeleans short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Vincent McGorrie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marin Giubelean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent McGorrie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, SERRANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Neves to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SERRANO booed when Cambaratiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent McGorrie was a little too slow when Marin Giubelean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. Marin Giubelean struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vincent McGorrie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambaratiba. A collision led to SERRANO getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Doriva de Andrade hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vincent McGorrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Giubelean in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's Marin Giubelean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent McGorrie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Matheus Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambaratiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SERRANO the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Cambaratiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Marin Giubelean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SERRANO's Vincent McGorrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Giubelean in the 67th minute of play. Diguinho Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent McGorrie having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Marin Giubelean put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vincent McGorrie. After a rather tough play, Cambaratiba's Wilson Neiva got a free kick in the 88th minute. Vincent McGorrie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Aparecido went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cambaratiba fully deserved thier win.
