FEARP FC's Eliézer Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 6th minute of play. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Cearense in the 8th minute of play. Evaristo Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Christian Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Orlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Porto's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Zhuo Chao Chuan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 21st minute of play forced FEARP FC's goalkeeper Eliézer Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Zhuo Chao Chuan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. David Cearense hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. David Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, FEARP FC's goalkeeper Eliézer Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Iigo. Osvaldo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Orlan having to interfere. After 42 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Jhon Arias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Porto in the 43rd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Renato Quadros replaced Jorge Pires. The wind increased when Zhuo Chao Chuan made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Evaristo Porto sped through CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Orlan. Eliézer Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 57th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Zhuo Chao Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FEARP FC's Eliézer Zanette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Saad in the 62nd minute of play forced FEARP FC's goalkeeper Eliézer Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Mauricio Bitxintxo put in a rough tackle. In the 67th minute of the game, FEARP FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After having played for 75 minutes, Zhuo Chao Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhuo Chao Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Porto in the 77th minute of play. David Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Orlan made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when David Cearense sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Zhuo Chao Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FEARP FC's Décio Cardoso was substituted for Hacı Ali Tercan. Chico Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Meirelles ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Orlan was a little too slow when Evaristo Porto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-3. 98 minutes into the match, FEARP FC's Décio Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Orlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FEARP FC played a much better game than CE LAJEADENSE RS and deserved their victory. The CE LAJEADENSE RS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
