The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Zeca Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidos F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Unidos F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. If Jens-Ove Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Jens-Ove Malm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Dominic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jens-Ove Malm took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Dominic. Aristides Dominic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 12 minutes into the match, Unidos F C's Jean Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amauri Félix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aristides Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Leonel Modrić got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amauri Félix was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Malm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Dominic. Unidos F C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Malm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 23rd minute of play forced Unidos F C's goalkeeper Aristides Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Dominic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Unidos F C's zone, Marcos Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Dominic came out of the goal and Marcos Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Jens-Ove Malm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unidos F C's Aristides Dominic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Malm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Aristides Dominic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Ove Malm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aristides Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Chinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Dominic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Aristides Dominic came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Malm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Ian Laguna's late challenge caught a Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Laguna helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Unidos F C got a freekick which was hit by Ian Laguna. Ian Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jens-Ove Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Dominic having to interfere. Jens-Ove Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens-Ove Malm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Aristides Dominic skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aristides Dominic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Malm's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Unidos F C defense, Jens-Ove Malm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Dominic. The Unidos F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Dominic should have stopped the shot. Unidos F C's Aristides Dominic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Unidos F C from getting a goal against them. Jens-Ove Malm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 77th playminute. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Aristides Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a corner. Unidos F C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolgahan Onatkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Birol Celilay was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 92 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Dominic was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th match minute, Unidos F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Laguna to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 97th minute of the match.
