In the 16th minute Rodrigo Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gino Moreira took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Saldanha. After some careless play in the Triplo Malte F.C. defense, Fábio Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Washington Saldanha. The Triplo Malte F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Washington Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Washington Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Quirino in the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Porvir FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Evandro Penha hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Quirino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha. Washington Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute, Gino Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Washington Saldanha was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Rodrigo Quirino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Quirino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. 93 minutes into the match, Triplo Malte F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Moreira. Washington Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Quirino in the 95th minute of play. Rômulo Secco hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Porvir FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
