An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Siqueira in the 24th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulão Medeiros. Gonçalo Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montesclarense E.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Medeiros got free with Nicolas Castro in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Olímpico Blumenau FC booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Jeremias Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard de Almeida came out of the goal and Jeremias Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Eger went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Edgard de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Alves in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Válbson Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Eger in the 84th minute of play forced Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, André Luís Schmidt notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Olímpico Blumenau FC's Nicolas Castro.
