It was Régis Guimarães who took care of the corner kick. The corner led TRAKINAS FC's Reinaldo Alagoano to fire away a dangerous shot which Manoel Schmidt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manoel Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Oswaldo Matos sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos Alves in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo de Toledo saved TRAKINAS FC from getting behind. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Manoel Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Matos in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Olímpico Blumenau FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gernando Mineiro hit a great ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Matos to make the kick off. Remo de Toledo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Carlos Alves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. If Isaltino Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
