Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Dionísio made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Zé Carlos Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Penha in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Olímpico Blumenau FC booed when Fogo Quente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Isaltino Siqueira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ruben Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ruben Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Siqueira in the 14th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Sandalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When Olímpico Blumenau FC's Zé Carlos Alves in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fogo Quente's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos Alves in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Sandalio saved Fogo Quente from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Olímpico Blumenau FC were awarded a corner. Isaltino Siqueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Isaltino Siqueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fogo Quente's Ruben Sandalio did a great save. Manoel Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Fantini in the 30th minute of play. Ruben Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Olímpico Blumenau FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isaltino Siqueira in the 37th minute. Zé Carlos Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Sandalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fogo Quente's goalkeeper Ruben Sandalio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruben Sandalio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olímpico Blumenau FC's Zé Carlos Alves. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Olímpico Blumenau FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Carlos Alves made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Pedro Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fogo Quente and the Olímpico Blumenau FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fogo Quente's Pedro Dionísio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zé Carlos Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Manoel Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Dionísio in the 56th minute of play. Zé Carlos Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Fantini in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, César Prata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olímpico Blumenau FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fogo Quente the free kick. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's César Prata got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st of the match, Isaltino Siqueira tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ruben Sandalio got in the way and made a wonderful save. Isaltino Siqueira made a great header on Olímpico Blumenau FC's corner, it was just that Fogo Quente's Ruben Sandalio managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 78thth minute of the game Zé Carlos Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fogo Quente's Ruben Sandalio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute Isaltino Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Prata hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Olímpico Blumenau FC's attack was well implemented in the 89th minute, but when Zé Carlos Alves was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Mário Arce hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Pedro Dionísio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manoel Schmidt skillfully saved the ball. Zé Carlos Alves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Ruben Sandalio 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olímpico Blumenau FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
