After a rather tough play, Triplo Malte F.C.'s Victoriano Lehen got a free kick in the 24th minute. Washington Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Seco's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Meninos De Cotia's Ramon Del Piero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Cássio Nogueira's late challenge caught a Meninos De Cotia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Triplo Malte F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Faustin Ostermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Meninos De Cotia were the better team. Meninos De Cotia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
