The Clube Atletico Guarulhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, invictus's Álvaro Carioca got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, invictus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match, Endrik Sousa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sérgio Cearense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Clube Atletico Guarulhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Lastur should have stopped the shot. invictus's Sérgio Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save invictus from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raí de Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Endrik Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Kajetan Jestrimski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Endrik Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endrik Sousa in the 61st minute of play. Kajetan Jestrimski might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Cearense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajetan Jestrimski ran back to his position shaking his head. invictus's Sérgio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Jestrimski in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Tróia got free with Humberto Lastur in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kajetan Jestrimski struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Sérgio Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atletico Guarulhos. In the 70th minute, Endrik Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Rafa Mandrak was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atletico Guarulhos's players had a chance to rest. Kajetan Jestrimski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Atletico Guarulhos fully deserved thier win.
