Lázár Erdélyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Bouzios, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. José Maria Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lázár Erdélyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeri Zabelin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jean Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valeri Zabelin was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Narciz Gregl made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Akis Bouzios immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Se7e's Oséias Melo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valeri Zabelin. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Imperial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardo Félix was slow to take the kick. During this time Se7e's players had a chance to rest. In the 30th minute, Narciz Gregl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Se7e's Primitivo Frasco got a free kick in the 38th minute. Se7e's Cui Fei Jing managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Narciz Gregl in the 42 minute of the game. Oséias Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Valeri Zabelin made a huge save.

When Oséias Melo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Se7e fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Melo couldn't finish the play. Valeri Zabelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Ramos in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Frasco during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Se7e getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Primitivo Frasco hit a great ball. A.D. Imperial's Dadá Maravilha was substituted for José Maria Pena. The supporters of A.D. Imperial booed when Se7e was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, A.D. Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciz Gregl to maneuver through the defense. Valeri Zabelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Melo in the 69th minute of play. A.D. Imperial's Cléberson Couto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lázár Erdélyi but with some difficulty. In the 79th minute Jean Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeri Zabelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeri Zabelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Ramos in the 83rd minute of the match. Narciz Gregl kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Oséias Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Valeri Zabelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Imperial's zone, Oséias Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valeri Zabelin came out of the goal and Oséias Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Se7e's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
