Se7e's Jean Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atletico Guarulhos's zone, Oséias Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Lastur came out of the goal and Oséias Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clube Atletico Guarulhos's Humberto Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Melo in the 26th minute of play. Oséias Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Se7e's Oséias Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Clube Atletico Guarulhos were awarded a corner. Rafa Mandrak went to the cornerflag to take it. Rafa Mandrak made a great header on Clube Atletico Guarulhos's corner, it was just that Se7e's Lázár Erdélyi managed to reach the ball for a save. Lázár Erdélyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Guarulhos's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Melo came free, but Humberto Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Oséias Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Oséias Melo made the kick off in the second half. Oséias Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Se7e's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Félix in the 59th minute. Igor Matos's late challenge caught a Se7e's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Matos helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Clube Atletico Guarulhos got a freekick which was hit by Igor Matos. Bernardo Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Lastur having to make a save. Clube Atletico Guarulhos's Humberto Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atletico Guarulhos from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Endrik Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute of the match, Jean Ramos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Humberto Lastur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Humberto Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Ramos in the 93rd minute. Humberto Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Melo in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Se7e had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
