Diguinho Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Guarulhos's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro de Toledo came free, but Humberto Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Faustino in the 37th minute of the match. Vitinho Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Humberto Lastur made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro de Toledo got free with Humberto Lastur in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chapadao Rs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro de Toledo in the 68th minute.
