The audience thought a goal was coming when David Torres got free with Glauco Cearense in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Zamora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá Neto went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Petre Spânu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zamora was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, YESHUA F.C's David Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Torres to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, YESHUA F.C's Matt Sharples made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glauco Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villas Matilde's Glauco Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Sharples in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match YESHUA F.C got a corner. Villas Matilde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. John Coracera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on YESHUA F.C's corner Lino Valle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Glauco Cearense quite easily take care of the ball. Glauco Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasily Mahnach went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. YESHUA F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Coracera in the 78th minute. At last the ball reached David Torres at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Villas Matilde. 7-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Torres in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Cearense saved Villas Matilde from getting behind. In the 83rd match minute, Villas Matilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Spânu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of YESHUA F.C booed when Villas Matilde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Spânu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
