Adalberto Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 11 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Glauco da Rocha. 13 minutes into the game, Fabinho dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adalberto Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Lovat SS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho dos Santos came free, but Adalberto Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Agnaldo Mattos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adalberto Marques quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho dos Santos in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalberto Marques saved Lovat SS from getting behind. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adalberto Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lovat SS's Kaká Pinheiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fabinho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adalberto Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafinha Trancoso's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neymar Håland during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neymar Håland hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Lovat SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Athletico Paulistano's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Athletico Paulistano.
