Adalberto Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adalberto Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Soberano in the 16th minute of play. Conrado Terra's late challenge caught a Tosta Neto F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Terra helped the player get up and apologised. Conrado Terra hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute César Soberano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when César Soberano sped through Lovat SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto Marques. 24 minutes into the match, Tosta Neto F.C's César Soberano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalberto Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adalberto Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Soberano in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, João Paulo Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lovat SS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kaká Pinheiro hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Soberano made a kick off. César Soberano succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Kroos in the 62nd minute of play forced Tosta Neto F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neymar Håland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Azevedo having to interfere. Adalberto Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Kakaroglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th match minute, Lovat SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute of the match Lovat SS got a corner. Tosta Neto F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guto Paiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lovat SS's corner Guto Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dráuzio Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 84th minute, Guto Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Makis Kakaroglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Adalberto Marques was a little too slow when Makis Kakaroglou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-5. Luiz Eduardo Teles's late challenge caught a Lovat SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tosta Neto F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lovat SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tosta Neto F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Tosta Neto F.C.
