Romeu Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Robert Kornatowski took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Torres. Romeu Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Romeu Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Loramendi went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jaroslaw Niezgoda put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Romeu Torres. Romeu Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Cerezo in the 25th minute of play. The Compostela FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Compostela FSCMZ's Chicão Cerezo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Justino Loramendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compostela FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After a defensive mix-up in Beltrao F.C's zone, Mauro Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Torres came out of the goal and Mauro Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Beltrao F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Cerezo came free, but Romeu Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Ortiz took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Torres. Romeu Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Compostela FSCMZ's Jefferson Sousa was substituted for Dragoş Ţiţeica. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Loramendi got free with Romeu Torres in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beltrao F.C's Romeu Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Beltrao F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Beltrao F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Compostela FSCMZ's Boruc Poling was substituted for Chicão Cerezo. Romeu Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Loramendi in the 91st minute. Romeu Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Poling in the 92nd minute of play. Romeu Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boruc Poling went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. The Beltrao F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Compostela FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
