The Compostela FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaroslaw Niezgoda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telmo Madureira. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Telmo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chicão Cerezo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute Chicão Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Niezgoda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Madureira was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Justino Loramendi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Telmo Madureira came out and tried to block the shot, but Justino Loramendi slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 36th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Chicão Cerezo sped through E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Loramendi in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dragoş Ţiţeica. The crowd rose to their feet as Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Madureira. That made the score 9-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaroslaw Niezgoda to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Cerezo in the 54th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compostela FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 60 minutes into the game, Chicão Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Telmo Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the E.C 2 Janeiro RS defense, Jaroslaw Niezgoda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Madureira. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Madureira should have stopped the shot. After 66th play minutes Jaroslaw Niezgoda shot 14-0, a short shot which went by Telmo Madureira and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 72nd minute, Chicão Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. In the 78th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. 81 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Niezgoda notched a goal, 17-0, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Boruc Poling replaced Chicão Cerezo. When Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalie prevented a goal. Telmo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Compostela FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
