After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Laerte Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Excelência de Luxe's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Valadares came free, but Vítor Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Laerte Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Excelência de Luxe's Antônio Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Custódio came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The crowd rose to their feet as Excelência de Luxe's Laerte Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Madureira. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Custódio in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo Custódio. Haroldo Sanches hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes of play, Excelência de Luxe's Luís Gustavo Custódio made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laerte Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Excelência de Luxe's Luís Gustavo Custódio. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 96 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Custódio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Telmo Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Excelência de Luxe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E.C 2 Janeiro RS throughout the match.
