Sven Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Loramendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cesar Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Secco in the 9th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Compostela FSCMZ's Chicão Cerezo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Josefsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Valladares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesar Peyo came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Valladares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Loramendi in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Josefsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Valladares came free, but Cesar Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Peyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Valladares in the 30th minute. Chicão Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Josefsson having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match Compostela FSCMZ got a corner. flamengoric.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Paulista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Justino Loramendi made a great header on Compostela FSCMZ's corner, it was just that flamengoric.'s Sven Josefsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45th minute, Chicão Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Sven Josefsson. flamengoric.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Compostela FSCMZ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sven Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Robert Kornatowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Valladares in the 61st minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cesar Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. flamengoric.'s Sven Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 68th minute of play. Cesar Peyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Valladares's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Vianna during the 70th minute. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Naldo Figueiredo replaced Robert Kornatowski. Léo Vianna hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Compostela FSCMZ's Mauro Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Cerezo in the 75th minute of the match. Sven Josefsson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Justino Loramendi sent off a good shot on target. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Boruc Poling replaced Chicão Cerezo. Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Valladares in the 83rd minute of play. Cesar Peyo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by flamengoric.'s Peterson Novaes. But to his dismay, Peterson Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 90 minutes, Tarcisio Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the flamengoric. and the Compostela FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when flamengoric. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Josefsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mauro Paulista. Sven Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Poling in the 92nd minute of play. flamengoric.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Naldo Figueiredo scored to the left of an out of position Sven Josefsson, making the score, 2-3. The flamengoric. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Compostela FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Compostela FSCMZ.
