COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Cerezo in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Justino Loramendi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Léo Sampaio, 1-0. If Chicão Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Léo Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chicão Cerezo. With a little luck, COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio got control of the ball when Chicão Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save COURO COME FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Chicão Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Paulista hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by COURO COME FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Paulista was slow to take the kick. During this time Compostela FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. When Robert Kornatowski came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Compostela FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Kornatowski couldn't finish the play. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. COURO COME FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Loramendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 65 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
