With an all-out effort, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Didi Lima threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Doru Pogea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Finsberg came free, but Didi Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didi Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Resulhan Ulvi in the 16th minute. Sílvio Luiz de Lima took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni das Neves. Doni das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Lino Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Berger might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doni das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Berger ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Doni das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lino Berger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni das Neves was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lino Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meia Ronda's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Lino Berger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni das Neves was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Didi Lima made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gilbert Pochorylo sent off a good shot on target. Lino Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni das Neves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lino Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meia Ronda's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Meia Ronda were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doru Pogea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Pogea came free, but Didi Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didi Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Pogea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doru Pogea struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Didi Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEIXEIRINHA FC. In the 60th minute Resulhan Ulvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz de Lima in the 65th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Meia Ronda's Doni das Neves threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilvan Tavares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Pogea in the 75th minute of play forced Meia Ronda's goalkeeper Didi Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilvan Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Pogea went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Didi Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resulhan Ulvi in the 85th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Doni das Neves made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Doru Pogea notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Meia Ronda's Didi Lima. Didi Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meia Ronda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilvan Tavares in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Meia Ronda eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
