Claudinho Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ingvar Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Ingvar Strand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 25th minute, Ingvar Strand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Garrinchinha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the CZRFERLIN defense, Ingvar Strand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Sergipano. The CZRFERLIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Sergipano should have stopped the shot. Mané Garrinchinha charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mané Garrinchinha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes CZRFERLIN got a freekick which was hit by Mané Garrinchinha. CZRFERLIN's Claudinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Strand in the 35th minute of play. Ryan Giggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Claudinho Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, CZRFERLIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ofri Villig to maneuver through the defense.

Claudinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Strand in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by CZRFERLIN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denílson Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Denílson Lopes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudinho Sergipano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ryan Giggs came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinho Sergipano could save by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Ingvar Strand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Sergipano. CZRFERLIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Strand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Roneixon Tróia hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Larre during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CZRFERLIN's Alexandre Larre got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Strand in the 75th minute of play forced CZRFERLIN's goalkeeper Claudinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Giggs was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Claudinho Sergipano was a little too slow when Ingvar Strand got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-7. Ingvar Strand scored 0-8 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in CZRFERLIN's zone, Ingvar Strand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Sergipano came out of the goal and Ingvar Strand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Ofri Villig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CZRFERLIN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milan da Freguesia F.C. the free kick. With an all-out effort, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Claudinho Sergipano threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denílson Lopes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Milan da Freguesia F.C. were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after CZRFERLIN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denílson Lopes took the corner. The corner led Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Denílson Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudinho Sergipano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
