Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Cícero Barral notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Predador's Denílson de Andrade. Denílson de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Marquez in the 21st minute of play forced Club do Inrrá's goalkeeper Alex Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Denílson de Andrade made a huge save. Alex Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With his leg Denílson de Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Club do Inrrá's Cícero Barral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joonatan Van de Goor made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Waldemar Cardozo immediately put the ball in play. Predador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Cícero Barral scored to the left of an out of position Denílson de Andrade, making the score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walmir Neiva made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Joonatan Van de Goor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes got control of the ball when Duarte Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dedé Vergílio took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson de Andrade. Denílson de Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Denílson de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Vergílio in the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the game, Club do Inrrá's Dedé Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson de Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Club do Inrrá's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
