The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Walmir Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Bento's Maurício Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moisés Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Porto had several of the São Bento's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Maurício Veiga as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Neiva in the 12th minute of play forced São Bento's goalkeeper Maurício Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Duarte Porto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurício Veiga. The goal made the score 2-0. Duarte Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Moisés Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Veiga. Moisés Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Maurício Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Neiva in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Predador's Duarte Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Moisés Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Veiga having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Duarte Porto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurício Veiga. That made the score 6-0 in the 30 minute of play. Duarte Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Maurício Veiga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Moisés Marquez notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of São Bento's Maurício Veiga. Maurício Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moisés Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Veiga having to interfere. Walmir Neiva succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. Maurício Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Neiva's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmir Neiva was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Walmir Neiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Maurício Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurício Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Neiva went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Duarte Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maurício Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Predador's Denílson de Andrade got control of the ball when Anísio Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th match minute, São Bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Vale to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes of play, Predador's Duarte Porto made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Moisés Marquez notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of São Bento's Maurício Veiga. Maurício Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, São Bento's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Porto came free, but Maurício Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Vicente do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Duarte Porto notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of São Bento's Maurício Veiga. Maurício Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walmir Neiva struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Maurício Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Predador. Maurício Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Marquez went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. Maurício Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Porto's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Walmir Neiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Maurício Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Duarte Porto came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Predador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Porto couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Neiva in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Veiga saved São Bento from getting behind. Maurício Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
