Alfredo Stefano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robben Spoelberchs made a great header on Castanheiro SC's corner, it was just that Zebus FC's Aloísio Sergipano managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamber Aktaş in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tales Brito saved Castanheiro SC from getting behind. When Zebus FC's Kamber Aktaş in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castanheiro SC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Sergipano during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Rodolfo Sergipano got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Silvinho Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanheiro SC's Tales Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alfredo Stefano came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Stefano couldn't finish the play. Robben Spoelberchs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Castanheiro SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Stefano in the 20th minute. José Pedro Carneiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tales Brito made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kamber Aktaş sent off a good shot on target. Robben Spoelberchs took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Sergipano. Aloísio Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Castanheiro SC defense, Kamber Aktaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tales Brito. The Castanheiro SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Brito should have stopped the shot. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Stefano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aloísio Sergipano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvinho Corrêa made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Sebastiaan Dijkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Nunes lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zebus FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Alfredo Stefano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Castanheiro SC's Jânio Sanches was substituted for Alfredo Stefano. If Silvinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robben Spoelberchs in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute 陶渊伟 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Jânio Sanches made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aloísio Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aloísio Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Sanches in the 71st minute of the match. Daniel Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Tales Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa in the 76th minute of play. Aloísio Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robben Spoelberchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes Castanheiro SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermínio Figueiredo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Zebus FC's Rodrigo Azevedo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
