Zebus FC's Maicon Ramalho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juninho Reis, made in the 8th minute of the game. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamber Aktaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamber Aktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Lage having to interfere. Kamber Aktaş took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Lage. Cristiano Lage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Zebus FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kanu Zago hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Kamber Aktaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikail Yerhum in the 22nd minute of play forced Zebus FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silvinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Minuim SS's Cristiano Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Corrêa in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastiaan Dijkman came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Lage had great luck who in the 35thth minute grab hold of the ball when Silvinho Corrêa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 39thth minute of the game Silvinho Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minuim SS's Cristiano Lage was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aloísio Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zebus FC's zone, Luisão Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Sergipano came out of the goal and Luisão Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikail Yerhum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Zebus FC were awarded a corner. Hermínio Figueiredo went to the cornerflag to take it. Zebus FC's Hermínio Figueiredo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Lage in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aloísio Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikail Yerhum in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Zebus FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Corrêa. Minuim SS's Frank Rodrigues was substituted for Marko Krumov. Silvinho Corrêa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Aktaş came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Zebus FC's Sebastiaan Dijkman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juninho Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Aloísio Sergipano made a huge save. After 73 minutes of play, Zebus FC's Kamber Aktaş made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Lage was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zebus FC's Cauan Gomes was substituted for Leopoldo Nunes. In the 80th minute Kamber Aktaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Zebus FC's Aloísio Sergipano got control of the ball when Mikail Yerhum tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mikail Yerhum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Peixoto's late challenge caught a Minuim SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Minuim SS booed when Zebus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rodrigo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minuim SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zebus FC.
