The supporters of Treze CG booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Greenan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilian Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Machado in the 18th minute of play forced Treze CG's goalkeeper Vintilă Dorineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 秦枫正 in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vintilă Dorineanu saved Treze CG from getting behind. A well-hit corner resulted in Dagoberto Machado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some careless play in the Bitelon FC - SAF defense, Zé Augusto da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilian Motta. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilian Motta should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Dagoberto Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Dorineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vintilă Dorineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Mbappè in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto da Costa got free with Wilian Motta in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vintilă Dorineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Machado in the 39th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Treze CG fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bitelon FC - SAF a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kilian Mbappè, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Treze CG's Vintilă Dorineanu. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bitelon FC - SAF made a substitution. Paulo José de Moraes replaced Agnaldo Batista. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dagoberto Machado made a kick off. Bitelon FC - SAF's Joel Quadros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Róbson de Andrade, made in the 81st minute of the game. Vintilă Dorineanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilian Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
