Carmelo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Tingara FC - DMZ booed when REMO - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, José Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tingara FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but José Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Michael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Manoel Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Tingara FC - DMZ's André de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tingara FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. When REMO - FDFDF's Manoel Antunes in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tingara FC - DMZ's players were relieved. 27 minutes into the match, REMO - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Dias came free, but Carmelo Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tingara FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after REMO - FDFDF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Ramos took the corner. Tingara FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Manoel Antunes scored to the left of an out of position André de Sousa, making the score, 3-0. After taking down the ball on REMO - FDFDF's corner Comunardo Chiarelli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André de Sousa quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Manoel Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manoel Antunes took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André de Sousa. André de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tingara FC - DMZ's André de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Antunes in the 43rd minute of play. Manoel Antunes scored 5-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manoel Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Manoel Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Vânderson de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. André de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Tingara FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Antunes came free, but André de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Tingara FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Téo Loyola. In the 65th minute Manoel Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, REMO - FDFDF's Manoel Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a left leg André de Sousa saved Tingara FC - DMZ from getting behind. Dieguinho Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Carmelo Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Jorge Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tingara FC - DMZ defense, Manoel Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André de Sousa. The Tingara FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André de Sousa should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The REMO - FDFDF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tingara FC - DMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
