Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Ademir Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Genílson Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Porto. Fúria Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Genílson Maciel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Porto. Júlio Porto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Fúria Futebol Clube's zone, Ademir Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Porto came out of the goal and Ademir Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Costa in the 27th minute of play. Júlio Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademir Costa's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto got control of the ball when Genílson Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Costa in the 30th minute. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Durval Rossi hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Genílson Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Porto. Fúria Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Júlio Porto came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Ademir Costa. But to his dismay, Ademir Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 44th minute, Ademir Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ademir Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ademir Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Costa in the 54th minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademir Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Júlio Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Martins came free, but Júlio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Júlio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Cunha in the 67th minute of the match. Washington Carneiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Inácio Mesquita. 71 minutes into the match, Ademir Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Porto. Fúria Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ademir Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Ademir Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Pernambucano got free with Washington Carneiro in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, Ademir Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Júlio Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC fully deserved thier win.
