In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia do Povo FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Maranhense was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Celedonio Clis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celedonio Clis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Celedonio Clis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Maranhense. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play.
