Cristian Souza started the match with the kick off. The supporters of E.C TAUBATÉ booed when AUGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes AUGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro. Toninho Arruda struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Abel Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C TAUBATÉ. The supporters of E.C TAUBATÉ booed when AUGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. E.C TAUBATÉ's Clóvis Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Clóvis Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the E.C TAUBATÉ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Toscano couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Clóvis Toscano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Abel Maranhense to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of AUGE FC booed when E.C TAUBATÉ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Clóvis Toscano sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, AUGE FC's Fábio Machado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fábio Machado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AUGE FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fábio Machado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Abel Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clóvis Toscano in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Clóvis Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Maranhense was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Abel Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Toscano in the 38th minute of play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clóvis Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Clóvis Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clóvis Toscano in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Maranhense saved AUGE FC from getting behind. Abel Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AUGE FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro hit a great ball. Abel Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Marz in the 61st minute of play. AUGE FC's Abel Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Toscano in the 63rd minute of play. Toninho Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AUGE FC's Adelino Mendonça got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Clóvis Toscano made a precise shot to the right of Abel Maranhense. AUGE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 79th minute, Cristian Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ezequiel Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clóvis Toscano went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Toscano in the 88th minute of play forced AUGE FC's goalkeeper Abel Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Clóvis Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AUGE FC's Abel Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Morjan Al Sayer made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jerônimo Oliveira sent off a good shot on target.
