André Luís Bastos's late challenge caught a Monte Olimpo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monte Olimpo's Nicolas Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Paes in the 96th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Atlético Livramentense's Téo Paes made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Monte Olimpo played a much better game than Atlético Livramentense and deserved their victory. The Atlético Livramentense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
