Jailson Soares was a little too slow when Gilmar Borges got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jailson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Borges in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Celedonio Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute Gilmar Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Matungo Gaúcho were awarded a corner. Gilmar Borges went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but 龙森景 advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 17th minute. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Josué Pinheiro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcinho Sena in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jailson Soares saved Breguete FC from getting behind. After 23 minutes Breguete FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilmar Borges who took care of the corner kick. 28 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Borges came free, but Jailson Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adilson Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Ortiz. In the 34th minute, Celedonio Florinio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jailson Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Josué Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Roderick van Boxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Breguete FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. A hard shot 43 in the game by Marcinho Sena from a close distance when the talented Jailson Soares managed to make a qualified save. Breguete FC's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Matungo Gaúcho made a substitution. Diego Baresi replaced Renan de Senna. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugênio de Carvalho to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Florinio to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Eugênio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Iványi's late challenge caught a Matungo Gaúcho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jailson Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ademir Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 71st minute. Breguete FC's Jailson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Borges in the 73rd minute of play. Eugênio de Carvalho hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Celedonio Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jailson Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Sena in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Matungo Gaúcho booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jailson Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Breguete FC's Jailson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Pinheiro in the 84th minute of play.
