In the 5thth minute of the game Eurico Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Dre Schipmans took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Acácio Vasco to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Peixoto in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Gröhe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dre Schipmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Marcos Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Mavericks's protests and gave Marcos Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Marcos Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amauri Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Lucas made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alfredão Paiva immediately put the ball in play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

During the 51st minute of the match Marcos Almeida completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcos Almeida a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Ibis Football Club booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 53rd minute of play. Fernando Lucas's late challenge caught a Ibis Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Yin Hong in the 63rd minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Gröhe. Marcelo Gröhe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 76 minutes of play, Sport Club Mavericks's Zhuo Yin Hong made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Acácio Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eurico Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Gröhe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Paiva during the 83rd minute. İslam Tunçbilek struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Acácio Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Mavericks.
